Spring

Bath Time

Fascinated by the water

Macaroni and Cheese with Hot Dogs, FAVORITE meal

This is how James sleeps every night, thought everyone should see how adorable he is.

Finally get to be outside!

Spring is here, and we have LOVED being outside.  James begs to go outside and play every day.  If you say,  "lets go outside," he goes crazy.  He runs for his shoes and coat and waits patiently at the door.  He loves to explore when he is outside, poking at and picking up everything he sees.  We even got out our bikes and bike trailer.  Nate and James took them out last week and popped a tire on the trailer.  Apparently it was quite loud and scared everyone around them.  We are definitely missing out back yard and neighborhood, but are very grateful for the grassy area that we do have in the front of our apartment.

We have starting potty training!  YIKES!  I can't believe James is already old enough to be potty trained.  We bought this chair off of amazon.  He seems to like it ok.  It comes with a book that he enjoys to read while sitting on the chair.  I would post a pic of him on the chair (since he looks so cute sitting on it reading his book) but James may be mad at me later if  I did :)  He has gone potty twice and poop once since we started.  I'm hoping he will catch on quickly.  I'd LOVE to be done with diapers!

Nate found out this last week that he will be at Jim Hill full-time next fall!  We are so excited.  He may also be able to have his own classroom, which would be a huge blessing.  (now he has a cart that he takes around from room to room)  Now we are just praying that the right job comes up for this summer.

OH, we got a new car!  This last month we had a snow storm and Nate hit a curb with the Honda.  It would have cost around $4,000 to fix, so we bought a new one.  We found a 2005 civic with only 50,000 miles!  We are really happy with it.  It is actually pretty roomy and gets fantastic gas mileage. We felt really blessed to have found it so quickly.  It was just what we were looking for.

I'm done with my training / orientation at work.  I've had 2 deliveries on my own and they have gone pretty smoothly.  I'm adjusting to the differences and slowly starting to feel more comfortable.  It's so crazy how much has changed in the last 3 months.  I feel so blessed when I look back and see all the wonderful people God brought into our lives and how He worked everything out with our move.

Well Laundry is calling my name.  It just never seems to end, does it?

No kisses now dad, I'm playing!

James has been so crazy this last month. It seems like he is changing every day.  He has really been into giving kisses lately.  He will hold you down until you let him give you a big smack on the lips.  He also loves giving himself kisses in the mirror :)

James has been learning to count lately, however, he only really seems to know the number 2.  Eating has become somewhat of a challenge lately.  He loves sweets, especially chocolate and cookies or "choco and cookoo"  We stopped giving him milk last month because he seemed to be having really bad diaper rash from it, and since we stopped the milk, the diaper rash stopped!  So, we have been doing a lot of juice lately.  His favorites are grape and V8 Splash.

Nate and I are starting to feel more settled here.  Our apartment is starting to feel more like home.  I started my Labor and Delivery orientation this week.  They are giving me 4 weeks.  I'm hoping it goes smoothly.  It has felt very strange going from a place where I could do my job without much thought, to a place where everything and everyone is new.  Everyone has been really nice and helpful with the transition.  There are 3 new girls starting on the floor this month.  It's kinda nice that I won't be the new kid anymore :)

Nate is really loving his job.  We will know soon if he will have a full-time job there again for next fall.  We are really hopeful, as he really likes it there.  He will most likely coach volleyball and basketball again there next fall as well.

Well hope you enjoy the pictures.  Sorry it's been so long since i've posted!  Life has been just so crazy.
