6 month phone purge

I haven't picked up my camera since Sam's birthday.  I think I'll blame it on the cold weather. However,   I have taken some pictures of my children with my phone, so I thought I would share those with you.  Enjoy my beautiful babies :)

Taking a Bubble Bath in Auntie Kristi's tub..... A few too many bubbles I think :)

James in his AWANA vest.  He LOVES it!

Sam loves to read books

James as Cowboy Woody at Halloween.

James as Curious George for Halloween

Sam has quite the temper....

Just doing a little fishing in the tub

James loves to go to the mall and get chicken nuggets, french fries, and orange drink.  It's his favorite special treat.

reading time with dad

There is a mural on the wall to the bathroom in the Minot Mall.  James spotted this  5 inch tall painted person and said "hey look, it's daddy Nate!"  I guess it does kind of look like Nate....

I love my video monitor.  Nothing better than watching your babies sleep.

James is such a good helper....Then again, he did make the mess in the first place :)

When mom needs a break, this is what I do with the boys for 20 minutes.  Baby Einstein is wonderful entertainment

Life is good.  Hopefully good things are on the Horizon.  School starts April 7th...EEK!  Here's to life always staying interesting!

Samuel Steven, One Year Old

Can you believe this kid is ONE?  I know that I can't.  Well actually he is almost 13 months now.  It feels like yesterday that I was bringing him home.  Here are some Sam updates

  • Sam is WALKING.  Well, really he is running!  He tries desperately to keep up with his big brother.  He does pretty well too.  He started really getting the hang of it in early December, and has been going non-stop ever since.
  • Sam eats EVERYTHING.  He will pretty much eat until you stop giving him food.  There really is nothing he doesn't like to eat.  He still has 3-4 bottles of milk a day (lactade milk, because my boys are lactose intolerant) We have started to phase out the bottle and use the sippy cup more
  • He loves to play with our slide, his push tractor from Grandpa Peter, his animal puzzle, and his basketball hoop.  He pretty much loves to do anything with his big bro.
  • Sam sleeps through the night, but lately has been refusing to go to bed at night
  • Sam has been better about keeping his hearing aids in.  He wears his hat, and it seems to help keep them in for longer stretches during the day.  He has been meeting all of his milestones and continues to meet with infant development every week.
