My little 11 month old Bubba

James had more fun playing with this spaghetti than he enjoyed eating it. We have been trying all sorts of new foods. I have noticed, however, that James prefers sweets (no surprise there) and carbs (again no surprise). His favorite foods are crackers (graham crackers and club crackers) bread, bananas, and pancakes. He has started becoming a little More picky and won't eat cold foods unless they are sweet. We have also switched him over to whole milk, which he is doing really well with. Our next challenge is to get him to adapt more to the sippy cup. He isn't a fan, unless he is really thirsty.

Isn't he cute :)

Books, books, books. James would sit and have me read to him all day. he loves books (just like his mom and dad)

Apparently his socks taste good?

James has become much better as playing by himself. We made a little play area for him in our living room, and he will just pull toys out, and then put them back in again. He loves balls and blocks. He will stack the rings on his toy that he has, and then push it over. Oh, the things that are fun for an 11 month old.

James loves to brush his teeth. Gotta keep those pearly whites clean for the ladies :)

Too precious for words

Playing with some new toys mom brought home. Notice the ring around his arm? James has also developed a temper, and has started to throw tantrums. He keeps wanting to play by the stairs, which is obviously not OK with mom. Every time I move him away, he screams and then crawls back by the stairs. He has been scolded, spanked and everything in between. I think we may have a little terror in our midst. On the other hand, his is a very sweet boy as well. he loves to give kisses and hugs. He is just too precious for words and bring such joy to our life. I thank God every day for blessing us with our son. He is a great blessing to our lives.
