Seven Months Old

Can you believe my baby boy is now seven months old! YIKES. It's is so hard to believe. I know I say this every month, but seriously how can it be??? He is getting so big and smart. He is constantly trying to figure things out. He is so curious and always taking in everything that is going on around him. He is a whopping 18lbs 4oz and 28in long. He soon wont be able to fit into his infant car seat anymore! I am trying to hold out buying a convertible until spring gets here, since it is still so cold out. My abilities to lug the infant car seat around, however, are dwindling.

James is slowly learning to like solid foods. He would still much rather be fed by his momma or get a bottle. He still has be to swaddled to sleep soundly. He continues to sleep like a champ. He has both of his bottom two teeth in, and his top two have just broken through. He is such a good baby, and I wouldn't have even known he was teething again, except I put my finger in his mouth and happen to feel them poking through.

James still loves going to daycare. I will be switching to rotating 12hr days and nights starting in April, so that will be different for us. Nate accepted a part time para job at schroeder middle school, and hopefully will be teaching part time at ELL (English Language Learners) as well. We know that God will continue to provide for us, as He always has.

Nate has been determined to get James moving! He is still working on crawling, but he loves to stand. I however, am continuing to enjoy his immobile stage. He sits up like a pro, and rolls like there is no tomorrow. I just love how every day he seems to accomplish something new!

James loves to babble. He has started "talking" and loves it when we talk back. He is not saying any words yet, but we are still enjoying his talking to us.

I love that my baby is getting so big, but I also wish that I could keep him small forever. I know that someday these days will seem like a fleeting memory, so I am trying to treasure each and every day we have with my baby being a baby.
